Details are beginning to emerge regarding the first card for the UFC on Fox scheduled to take place in Anaheim, CA on November 12th.
The broadcast will be a one-hour live special, beginning at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET., and will feature just two fights along with a full preliminary card. The event is expected to take place at the Honda Center.
“It’s going to literally be back-to-back action. We aren’t going to mess around with a lot of pre-fight commentary, post-fight commentary. We are going to roll right in, set up the fights and let the action go.” Lorenzo Fertita said.
Although the event takes places on the same night as Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez 3, the early start will mean the card will not be competing, instead, the UFC will be a lead in to the boxing PPV for fans interested.
“We’ll be out of there before Pacquiao even walks to the ring,” Fertitta said. “This is going to be a perfect night for any fight fan. Get together with your friends, watch two big fights in the UFC and then change the channel to ride into the Pacquiao pay-per-view.”
