– Heavyweights Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic (27-9-2) and Roy Nelson (15-6) will both be looking to rebound from back-to-back losses when they’re expected to square off on the UFC 137 fight card on October 29 in Las Vegas.

– A long-awaited fight between UFC hall of famer Matt Hughes (45-8) and fellow welterweight Diego Sanchez (23-4) has been made official for UFC 135 on September 24 in Denver, Colorado.

– A second title fight has been booked for UFC 136, as featherweight champion Jose Aldo (15-1) defends his title against Kenny Florian (15-5) in the co-main event of the October 8 event in Houston, Texas.
