” Kevin Ferguson will make his professional boxing debut against 0-1 James Wade in the main event of an August 13 card at Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.

Wade (0-1) may not be the most experienced or well-known boxer, but a win over a celebrity like Slice could certainly bring him a fair share of notoriety.

Slice makes his boxing debut after a mixed martial arts career where he compiled a 4-2 record. Slice got his first MMA deal with the now defunct Elite XC promotion. After three wins in the promotion, Slice was knocked out by Seth Petruzelli in fourteen seconds, ending his tenure with the promotion.

Slice then joined the UFC in 2009 as part of the 10th season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” but was released from the promotion following a TKO loss to Matt Mitrione at UFC 113.
