BJ Penn Withdraws From UFC 132

Just one week after an injury forced out of a rematch with at , Penn has also been forced to withdraw from the July 2 card.

While the UFC had been searching for a replacement, Penn has been forced out due to an undisclosed injury.

Penn and Fitch fought to a draw earlier this year at and agreed to a rematch at UFC 132 with a possible welterweight title shot on the line.

Whether Penn-Fitch II will rescheduled at a later date is unknown at this time.

UFC 132 takes place July 2 in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a featherweight title bout between champion Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber.
