After a close fight between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Lyoto Machida, which “Rampage” won in a split decision, both Machida and Jackson promptly agreed to another meeting before retiring from the UFC.

However, UFC President Dana White said after the right that “Rampage” earned a clear win to move closer to a title shot and that an immediate rematch isn’t in the cards.
