Sonnen to Appeal his Failed Drug Test

Recent UFC middleweight challenger Chael Sonnen will appeal to the California State Athletic Commission on his failed drug test which showed high testosterone levels just after his submission loss to current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva at last month’s UFC 117 event.
Sonnen was fined $2,500 and faces a one year suspension; the planned rematch against Silva was called off unless his appeal is granted.
“Chael is consulting with his legal advisors and physicians and will have a statement in the near future,”. Chael will file an appeal with the CSAC and looks forward to working with the Commission to resolve this matter.” Sonnen’s manager Mike Roberts said via MMAFighting

And ill admit silva is my favorite fighter but he got his ass beat. But all in all it was for nothing because sonnen was on steroids. And also pretty sad that a guy who is taking ped’s and fighting an injured man still didn’t win. And how can you not call silva the number one best fighter in the world, but you can gsp? All gsp does is wrestle. Silva can beat u standing, and ground n has done it 12 times with no losses in the ufc. Gsp got beat 2 times in the ufc. And for gsp to say he will fight sva ina couple years is gay because u forget silva will be about 40 n gsp will be what 31 or 32? He scared.
