Former UFC heavyweight champ Frank Mir recently speaks about his upcoming heavyweight duel against former Pride FC superstar Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at the UFC 119 main event this September 25 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“Actually I am really excited about this one. I really look at it as another opportunity to fight a former PRIDE winner, he won their Absolute tournament in ’06, he was one of their top guys … I think a lot of guys would actually rather to avoid CroCop at this point in his career, I think he doesn’t have the same notoriety that he had before. You hear people saying he doesn’t have what he used to have or he is slower now, he doesn’t have what he used to have in aggression and tenacity.
