Former boxing champ James “Lights Out” Toney’s mma career is officially over according to UFC President after he suffered a first round submission loss to UFC veteran and hall of famer Randy “The Natural” Couture. White added that the loss has made him realize that boxers won’t fit in the Octagon.

“He’s a boxer and that’s what he does. He wanted a fight in the UFC, he picked a fight with our guys, and he fought tonight, he’s a tough guy. I have a lot of respect for him, but you can’t expect a guy to come in with one discipline and do well. He stepped up, he came in and did it. He picked a fight and he got one.” White said MMAfighting.com
