Antonio Rodrigo “Big Nog” Nogueira Withdraws From UFC 119

Former UFC interim heavyweight champion withdraws from to undergo a hip surgery and “Big Nog” is expected to be sidelined at least four months. Nogueira was originally scheduled to face former UFC heavyweight champion in a rematch at the Conseco fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mirko “Cro Cop” is the possible replacement for Nogueira.

“I hurt my hips training and I’ll have to go on surgery. I’m only depending on a few exams, but I think it’ll be done by the weekend. The surgery will be on both sides of my hips, and I’ll operate my knee too. If everything goes alright I’ll be back on training in four months.” Nogueira said via Tatame.com
