Former UFC number one lightweight contender Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez 21-4-0 (Win-Loss-Draw) returns in the Octagon at :”Lesnar vs. Velasquez” on Octoer 23 at the Honda Center, California. After losing his last two fights to former UFC lightweight champ BJ “Prodigy” Penn and welterweight , “The Nightmare” has returned to Greg Jackson’s team in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is currently preparing his next bout against UFC welterweight contender .

Sanchez won the “Ultimate Fighter” season 1 and has won four straight fights against guys like Joe “Big Daddy” Stevenson, Luigi Fioravanti and to earn a title shot at the UFC lightweight belt that was held before by , but suffered a technical knockout loss due to Doctor Stoppage in the final round and recently lost a unanimous decision to welterweight prospect John Hathaway last June in his return to welterweight (170 pounds).
