Former UFC lightweight number one contender Kenny “KenFlo” Florian 13-4-0 (Win-Loss-Draw) share his thoughts on improving his wrestling skills for his upcoming fight against the undefeated Gray “The Bully” Maynard 9-0-0 (Win-Loss-Draw) at UFC 118:”Edgar vs. Penn 2” on August 28, 2010 in Boston.

Florian is expecting all the days of hard training to pay off for his upcoming fight against Maynard. “The Bully” is known for his relentless takedowns.
“KenFlo” won his last two fights against Clay “The Carpenter” Guida at UFC 107 last December and to Takanori Gomi at UFC Fight Night 21 last March 31. His last defeat came from the hands of former UFC lightweight champion BJ “Prodigy” Penn at UFC 101 last August 2009.
“I definitely worked on my wrestling. Maybe a little more than normal, but it’s something I’ve been working on for a long time. I’ve been working on it a lot since the BJ(Penn fight. I’ve worked with a lot of high level wrestlers since then. It’s not something that was going to get better for this camp. I had to have gotten better way before. You are not going to improve your wrestling in one training camp. I’ve been working on it a long time and I think it is paying off. Right now, I’m facing Maynard at a great point. He’s going to use his wrestling. I’m looking forward to seeing if the hard work I’ve been putting in ends up paying off.” Florian said.
