Former UFC welterweight contender Paul “Semtex” Daly 24-9-2 (Win-Loss-Draw) has been slapped a 30 day suspension for his “sucker punch” on Josh “Kos” Koscheck at in Montreal, Canada last May. ”Semtex” lost the fight via unanimous decision and it was clear that his post-fight punch of Koscheck is a sign of frustration after he was dominated by Koscheck’s wrestling skills.

The suspension won’t affect Daley’s September 11 welterweight bout against Jorge Masvidal 20-5-0 (Win-Loss-Draw) at Shark fights 13 in Amarillo, Texas.

“Semtex” will likely sign with Strikeforce Promotion after his next fight, Daley won his last fight against Daniel Acacio at Impact FC 2 last July 18. He had notable wins against guys like Martin “Hitman” Kampmann and Dustin Hazelett.
