Jackson wrote on Twitter last night, “Almost ready to sign the bout agreement! I would tell ya’ll who I’m gonna get down with, but I can’t spell his name. Hahaha.”

Jackson (30-8) earned back-to-back wins over and , then appeared as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 10 opposite rival , before losing to after a a 14-month layoff.

Machida (16-1) won the 205-pound title from Rashad Evans last May, but recently lost the title to Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
