Dana White: UFC Has No Interest in Fedor Emelianenko Following Loss

UFC President Dana White said that he has no interest in signing Fedor Emelianenko following his loss to Fabricio Werdum on Saturday at “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum”.

“I’m not interested,” White said at the UFC 116 pre-fight press conference. “Now that he loses, they want to say ‘we’ll come over’ because he lost? I’m done playing games.”

After his 28 fight, 10 year win streak was snapped by Werdum, Emelianenko (32-2) is believed to have one fight remaining on his current Strikeforce contract.
