– After recently suffering his fourth straight loss, light heavyweight has been released by the UFC.

– Welterweight talked about his plans to move up to middleweight should teammate defeat Georges St-Pierre in December to win the 170-pound title:

“To me there’s no reason to fight a teammate. It’s not a fight we’re interested in at all. It’s a situation where, if Koscheck is able to win the belt and defend the belt, I’ll move up to 185. I have a good size frame. I could put on 15 pounds. I might take a month off to put on some weight, but it’s a tall order to beat Georges and defend the belt. That process would take a year from now, and I’ll have fought every other welterweight worth fighting by that time so it’d almost be time to move up anyways.”
