“I’m not a fan of the UFC,” Fedor Emelianenko said today when asked whether his June 26 showdown with Fabricio Werdum was more important than the July 3 UFC 116 headliner between UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin.
“I believe our fight is more important,” Emelianenko said. “I’m not a fan of watching [UFC] fights. … There seems to be a lot of negativity in their shows, so I’m just not a fan of watching their programs. Also, the actions and behavior of some UFC fighters take away from the sport.”

There are so many more fighters signed with the UFC that there might just be some negative fighters in the mix, but there are so much more than Strikeforce can even dream of signing, so can you imagine if Strikeforce had as many as the UFC did? You really believe Strikeforce wouldn’t have the same results? Don’t talk like an idiot.
Fedor is real comfortable in an organization that has only a handful of heavyweights, because he doesn’t want to lose and if he were in the UFC, he would eventually lose fights. Not just one fight, but multiple fights. Mir proved to the world that no one is invincible (sub of Lesnar).

As to the number of heavyweights in the UFC, I can remember when Pride had the greatest heavyweight division in the world and idiot Seppo fanboys were still saying that he could only prove himself the best by fighting in the UFC.
