Last Saturday’s event UFC 114 was very successful not only in pay-per-view but also in the preliminary bouts that were broadcast in Spike TV. The event drew 1.6 million viewers, that is up by more than 30% from UFC 111: George St.Pierre vs. Dan Hardy preliminary telecast which drew 1.2 million viewers.

The preliminary bouts featured two fights, welterweights Don Hyung Kim and Amir Sadollah. Efrain Escudero against Dan Lauzon.

It is the second highest in terms of viewership in preliminary bouts. The first is UFC 109:Relentless which drew 1.7 million viewers.
