Former Strikeforce lightweight champ Josh “The Punk” Thomson 16-3 (Win-Loss) will return to action and will face Pat Sealy at the upcoming Strikeforce event: Fedor vs.Werdum which will be held at the Pavillion in San Jose, CA in June 26, 2010.

The fight is officially announced today by Strikeforce and the fight will be in the lightweight division (155 pound)

The former champion is returning after losing his last fight against Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez.

Pat Healy has won his last three fights and most recently against Bryan Travers winning it via unanimous decision. With a 38-fight career, a win against a former champion may boost his stock on the lightweight division.
