– Randy Couture scheduled to face one of the UFC’s newest acquisitions, boxing champ James Toney. The fight is expected to take place at UFC 118 on August 28 in Boston. Couture is coming off two straight wins after dropping back down to light heavyweight by defeating Brandon Vera and Mark Coleman.

– Matt Hughes will likely face Ricardo Almeida at UFC 117 on August 6 in Oakland.

– After earning “Knockout of the Night” after a first-round TKO of Brandon Vera last month’s UFC’s Versus debut, light heavyweight Jon Jones says he is expecting to face The Ultimate Fighter 8 winner Ryan Bader next, but prefers a matchup with an “established big-name fighter.”

– Paul Taylor’s debut against John Gunderson, which was scratched from UFC 112, has been rescheduled for The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale on June 19 in Las Vegas.

– Tim Hague is returning as a replacement for newcomer Chad Corvin and will fight Joey Beltran on the preliminary card of UFC 113 on May 8 in Montreal.
