will return to action in Strikeforce in June against long-rumored opponent , Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker announced on Monday.

“Fedor is now scheduled to fight in June towards the end of the month in America against Fabricio Werdum,” Coker said.

Werdum (13-4-1) was released by the UFC in 2008 following a loss to , but has since had back-to-back wins.
