Brock Lesnar: I’m 100% Recovered, I’m Still Heavyweight Champ

“I’m 100 percent recovered, and it’s a good thing. With this bout with diverticulitis, I’ve been able to step back, reevaluate my life, and reevaluate my training,” said Lesnar. “(The interim title) was a business decision the UFC had to make. Really, that belt is a make believe belt to satisfy the company and to satisfy the heavyweight division. I’m still the heavyweight champion. I haven’t defended my championship for less than a year. I’m excited to get back in the cage. I AM the UFC heavyweight champion.

“As a fighter, my first and foremost goal is to win in the Octagon. That’s the most-important thing, and what’s said outside the Octagon is purely entertainment. I dislike , but there isn’t an opponent I’d get in the Octagon that I’d truly like. That’s the battle of competition. I’m not a grudge holder, but when I get in the Octagon I respect no one.”
