Wanderlei Silva and Yoshihiro Akiyama are targeting a matchup that could take place as early as June at UFC 115 in Vancouver. Silva and Akiyama were scheduled to fight this year, but the matched was scrapped when Silva was booked to face Bisping.

“Akiyama wants to fight Wanderlei very bad,” UFC President Dana White said at the post-UFC 110 press conference. “It’s a big fight that he wants. We offered him another fight, but he said he wants Wanderlei.”

Michaels Bisping stated that he wants a rematch with Silva.
