Gray Maynard was able to keep his unbeaten streak alive last night at ‘UFC Fight Night 20: Maynard vs Diaz’, but the question remains as to whether or not he deserves a shot at the lightweight title currently held by the elite Hawaiian . Though Maynard was able to gut out a split decision victory over Diaz, it is tough to envision him having success over Penn who has decimated the 155 lb. division which has left scrambling to find worthy competition. Maynard may technically be next in line for a shot at BJ’s belt, but by no means would his performance last night be deemed ‘worthy’ of five rounds against Penn. What do you think?
