With the news that an illness had forced Brock Lesnar out of his UFC 106 fight with Shane Carwin, the UFC announced that a rematch between light heavyweights Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz will now headline UFC 106.

UFC also announced it “hopes to re-schedule the Lesnar vs. Carwin fight for early 2010.”

“UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II” takes place November 21 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
