Mark Coleman Tears MCL, Ortiz Fight Off UFC 106 Card

The return of former UFC light heavyweight champion suffered a setback. Ortiz’s opponent, former champion has pulled out of their match. Coleman reportedly suffered an MCL tear.

Tito Ortiz twittered about the injury by calling Coleman a “sissy” for backing out of the fight.

The fight would have been Ortiz’s first since coming back to the UFC. Ortiz left in May 2008 after losing to and he has not competed since.  Ortiz also had back surgery during his time away from the UFC.

Coleman’s MCL tear can take anywhere from 2-10 weeks to heel.
