UFC Replay Draws 2 Million Viewers Against Strikeforce’s 570,000

- The Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg event held last Saturday averaged 570,000 viewers and peaked with 856,000 viewers for the main event. The replay which aired at the same time on Spike TV drew 4 times as many viewers as Strikeforce, averaging 2 million viewers. Of course, Showtime is in just 15 million homes while SpikeTV is in 98 million.

Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg was headlined by the first ever women’s MMA title fight with Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos defeating Gina Carano in the first round. UFC 100 took place on July 11 and was headlined by the UFC title fight which saw defeating .
