- Welterweight Brad Blackburn has signed a new four-fight deal with UFC after winning his first three fights for the promotion. Blackburn is, however, recovering from shoulder surgery and will be out of action until 2010. His last two wins have been over Ryo Chonan via decision and Edgar Garcia via decision.

- Chris Lytle has tore his meniscus and has a “blown ACL” and will no longer be able to fight Carlos Condit at UFC Fight Night 19. No word yet on who will replace Lytle. UFC Fight Night 19 will take place at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, OK on September 16th.

- When lost to Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 97 in April, said that it was the end. But apparently the door is not shut on the situation. After , Dana White made the following comments…

“I don’t want him to (fight), he wants to, so we’ll see what happens.”

Chuck Liddell is 21-7 in his career, and has a UFC record 16 wins under his belt. But in his last five fights, has gone 1-4, and three of those losses have come via (T)KO.
